This is Bad Girl. She suffered severe trauma. This is her the first day of her accident.
Hello, I'm Carrie, and I'm reaching out with a heavy heart, desperately seeking your support. On Friday, March 1st, my sweet cat Bad Girl went missing and was later found down the street, covered in blood, brokenness, and unimaginable pain. The circumstances suggest she may have suffered at the hands of someone cruel, as the blood smears on the ground where she was found hinted at a sinister origin. We will likely never know if this was a car that hit her or otherwise as she was found by a neighbor against their fence in horrible condition.
I rushed her to a vet in Reseda, where a hefty fee of $800+ was incurred for X-rays and a prescription of gabapentin. Heartbreakingly, they informed me they lacked an on-call surgeon and couldn't offer the help she desperately needed. Bad Girl endured three jaw fractures, a fractured hip, a skull fracture, and a bulging eye – a devastating list of injuries.
Thanks to the incredible support of Facebook rescue groups, I managed to cover the costs of that initial vet visit, for which I am eternally grateful. Subsequently, she spent two nights at LAASER in Los Angeles, receiving essential fluids and round the clock care. Once again, the kindness of strangers touched by her story allowed us to gather enough funds. However, the estimate for her full surgery was shockingly higher than anticipated.
Monday morning led us to Kinder4Rescue in North Hollywood, where they quoted just $4400 for her entire surgeries. The unforeseen need for a blood transfusion and additional X-rays pushed the total to nearly $4800. With the generous help of two donors, Bad Girl underwent surgery. When I arrived to visit her I found her in unsanitary conditions with food all over her bed and she was ridden with jaundice. Likely due to the wrong blood being given during her transfusion.

Things were not looking good, instead of visiting we were being directed to True Care Pet Hospital in Studio City for further evaluation and a feeding tube.
Upon arrival at True Care, they demanded the full amount of $3865 upfront, leaving me in a heart-wrenching dilemma. Hours passed with no action and again we were sent home with nothing to help her. It wasn't until we reached MASH Hospital in Los Angeles the day after that the extent of the horror unfolded. Kinder 4 Rescue had left parts of her jaw unattended, rendering it grotesquely open and unable to eat or drink. Her leg, supposedly repaired, was now paralyzed, and confirmation from the new doctor about a botched blood transfusion with mismatched blood.
MASH Hospital quoted over $10,000 to rectify the extensive damage, leaving me in utter shock. The life-saving surgery she deserved has turned into a nightmare. Bad Girl is not just a pet; she is my entire world. Despite my relentless efforts, I'm running out of time and resources. I implore each of you to contribute, to be a beacon of hope for Bad Girl. She's young and deserves a chance at life, free from this undeserved suffering.
Your donations can make the difference between despair and a second chance for her.

Bad Girl before this horrific accident. Please support us by donating, following and sharing her story.

Estimate for her much needed surgery to correct her jaw. Her leg is still paralyzed and will also probably require surgery or at the very least physical therapy or Amputation. But for now we must fix her jaw so she can eat.
