Urgent Surgery Needed for our Dear MoMo!

This is MoMo - short for Maureen .  She's a gifted artist and a loyal, loving friend, sister and cheerleader. After a lifetime of supporting and championing others, she is in dire need of our help.

We have set up this site to help fund the surgical dental procedures she needs to have in order to preserve the integrity of her upper and lower jaws. Like many of us, she has been unable to afford good, consistent dental care.  Problems that began a few years ago have now become severe medical issues, which require two major procedures, including reconstructive surgery utilizing cadaver implants in order to preserve her facial integrity.

If she doesn't have the surgery soon, MoMo will develop life-threatening infections and partial removal of her jaw bones will be required, leaving her disfigured for life.

The initial estimate for her treatments is in excess of $65,000.00. Fortunately, insurance and a few philanthropic grants will cover a good portion of this but we aren't there yet.

We must raise $10,000.00 by October for the next phase of her surgery to begin.
