Urgent Transport for Rescued Puppies

Donation protected
A family in Lancaster, CA, is urgently seeking homes for two remaining puppies from a litter of 12 that were rescued with their mother from a desert hole in March. Despite extensive efforts over eight months—including contacting 60+ rescues—the puppies are still in need of forever homes or fosters.

This fundraiser is for transport of two of those puppies (Mitzy and Sammy) to a Canadian rescue (Fureversupawstars in Ontario)! Read below to learn more about these amazing pups rescued from the desert.

The family has fully vetted, microchipped, spayed/neutered, and socialized all the dogs. They are great with kids, cats, and other dogs, and are crate-trained, potty-trained, and know basic commands. However, due to complaints from a neighbor, Animal Control is now threatening to seize the dogs unless homes are found immediately.
The puppies—Sammy and Mitzy—are nearly 8 months old and each has a unique personality:

• Sammy: A happy, playful 65-lb dog who loves the outdoors and snuggling but is independent and needs a big fenced yard.
• Mitzy: A sweet, loving girl recovering from past trauma. She needs a calm, patient home where someone is around often.
