Lavori urgenti alla torre sinistra della Sinagoga di Firenze - Il Tempio Maggiore riveste per la città di Firenze e per tutti i suoi abitanti, ebrei e non, un enorme rilevanza artistica e storica oltre che politica essendo uno dei monumenti che meglio rappresenta l’emancipazione ebraica in Italia. Tra i massimi esempi di architettura moresca del nostro paese, la sinagoga con la sua inconfondibile cupola, ha assunto sin dalla sua costruzione nel tardo Ottocento, un ruolo armonioso e complementare allo skyline della nostra magnifica città, il cui centro storico, giova rammentarlo, è tra i 58 siti Patrimonio UNESCO del nostro paese.

Durante il restauro della facciata è stata rilevata una lesione ed una situazione critica ad alcuni pilastri. Dobbiamo intervenire subito per non tenere la struttura a rischio di ulteriori problematiche strutturali.

Opera del Tempio Ebraico di Firenze, fondazione che da oltre 25 anni si occupa della conservazione e restauro dei beni ebraici in Toscana, insieme alla Comunità Ebraica di Firenze, hanno bisogno del sostegno di tutti voi per mettere in sicurezza la torre.

E' stata attivata una campagna di fundraising straordinaria al fine di reperire le risorse necessarie a sostenere i costi dei lavori di consolidamento che sono stimati per un costo di oltre 80.000. Abbiamo già ottenuto un importante contributo a sostegno dell'intervento da parte della Fondazione CR Firenze e Opera Laboratori.

Il nostro fundraising si pone l’obiettivo di raccogliere almeno il 20% del totale attraverso donazioni di privati cittadini e di chiunque possa fornire un prezioso aiuto.

Tutti possono contribuire, anche solo attraverso la condivisione di questa campagna con i propri amici e familiari, e sui propri canali social: questo piccolo gesto ci aiuterà a diffondere il nostro appello al più ampio numero di persone possibile.

Urgent work needed on the left tower of the synagogue of Florence - The Great Synagogue, built in 1882, is of enormous importance to city of Florence and to Florentines of every faith. It is known for its architectural value and also represents one of the most important monuments in marking the passage of Jewish emancipation in Italy. It represents one of the greatest examples of Moorish architecture in Italy and the turquoise dome has assumed a harmonious and prominent role in the skyline of our magnificent city, which is listed by UNESCO among the 58 World Heritage Sites in Italy.

During ordinary maintenance work on the facade of the Temple, breakage was found at the base of one of the pillars. We need to repair the damage as soon as possible to avoid any further structural problems.

Opera del Tempio Ebraico di Firenze, a foundation dedicated to the restauration of Jewish monuments in Tuscany for more than 25 years, together with the Jewish Community of Florence, have launched a fundraising campaign to secure the tower.

The cost of the work is estimated in over 80,000 euro. We have already received important contributions from Fondazione CR Firenze e Opera Laboratori.

Our fundraising goal for individual donors is 20% of the total amount estimated for the repair work. Any amount that you can give to save this historical synagogue will help.
