I am Motaz Jamal Abdel Latif Al-Ostath (32 years old), a Palestinian living in the Gaza Strip.

My wife, Marah Osama Saeed Ismail (26 years old), and my baby daughter Mila (10 months) and I live in a small, cramped room of approximately 9 square metres, which we share with 10 displaced people, We are currently facing a nightmare, as today we do not have any resources for life at all, as we lack water, healthy food, medicine, and even milk and diapers for our daughter, My wife and little daughter are living in a great state of panic and fear from the continuous bombing, as the situation is becoming more dangerous every minute, unfortunately.
I have lived all my life here in Gaza,
I studied architecture and graduated in 2015, and I was the first in my class. I started my work at the university as a lecturer from 2017 until now, and I created my own project for interior design and furniture design (Aaj) in 2018, and after my marriage, we completed work on it, my wife and I, as she is also an architecture graduate (in 2021)
but unfortunately our dream Not completed,
On December 14, I received news of the destruction of the building in which I live. Unfortunately, the house of our dreams was gone, which we worked so hard to build and design. Also, my engineering company and my project that my wife and I were working on day and night to build a beautiful future for our daughter, Mila, was destroyed. Also the university college where I work was also destroyed.
We don't really have anything anymore and all our tiredness is gone...

I previously endured the devastating impact of three wars in Gaza, and I always made the decision to stay here, but today I no longer have a life or a future here.
The reality of this recent conflict that our country was exposed to made us lose all our dreams here, so today we are forced to leave this country and start from scratch and again abroad. Our ambition is great, our passion and love for life is great, and we have many dreams that we still want to achieve.
But the costs required for travel are very high, as we are asked to pay approximately 7,000 dollars per person and approximately 5,000 dollars per child, meaning we need 20,000 dollars in order to put names at the Rafah crossing and have our travel accepted,
We need personal expenses, transportation costs from Gaza to the Rafah crossing, then to Egypt, and need a visa, and staying abroad for a short period until we settle down and begin our future and our new journey.
All I have left is my family, and I cannot accept the idea of losing them as a result of this dangerous situation. I hope to rebuild our lives, rebuild our investment Aaj (We aspire to reopen our office abroad, build it, equip it, and begin work directly. And we aspire to open a small showroom for the furniture products that we design and implement) Please help us achieve our dreams, and move forward from this dark chapter.
