Meet the Faten's Family

In the heart of Gaza, the Faten's family once had a home filled with laughter and dreams for their three children. But their world shattered amidst the turmoil of war. Their house was reduced to rubble, leaving them with nothing but memories and a daunting road ahead.

I am a father of three wonderful children:

Faten (11 years old), Reem (6 years old), and Mohammed (13 years old). My wife, Riham Hamza, is 37 years old, works as a teacher at the relief agency, and is five months pregnant. Due to the war conditions and the destruction of the school where she worked, she has lost her job.

Meet Faten: A Brave Fighter

Among their children is Faten, a bright-eyed girl with an infectious smile, battling a chronic disease that has no cure in Gaza. Her condition worsens by the day, and the local doctors have exhausted their resources. Faten needs specialized treatment abroad to have a fighting chance at a future.

A Desperate Need for Hope

The Faten family’s dream is simple yet profound: to rebuild their home and give their children a chance at a better tomorrow. They yearn to see Faten receive the medical care she desperately needs, to watch their children flourish through education, and to rebuild their shattered lives from the ground up.

How You Can Help

Life in Gaza has become impossible. Homes, schools, hospitals, and roads have all been destroyed. We need to evacuate to ensure our safety and give our children a chance at a future. However, the cost of travel is exorbitant. Evacuating an adult to Egypt costs over $5,000, and for children under 16, it’s more than $2,500. These are estimated figures as exact costs are hard to determine, but they represent a significant financial burden that I cannot shoulder alone.

● Medical Treatment: Funds raised will go towards Faten's medical expenses abroad, where she can receive specialized care that isn’t available locally.

● Education: Contributions will also support the education of their children, ensuring they have the opportunity to learn and grow despite the adversity they face.
