Urrutia Family

I am reaching out for support on behalf of my dad, Carlos. For the past 2 1/2 years we have been fighting to keep my dad here in the United States and keep our family together.

My Dad has spent the last 13 months in Immigration detention and was recently released because the lawyers were able to get his released granted. In total my Dad has been in detention twice for a total of 19 months and as you can imagine that has created an enormous emotional and financial hole for my family. I'm the eldest of three and I have been trying to keep our family afloat since my Dad was taken away. It has been difficult because we used to count on the income from my Dad's two jobs.

In the time he was in detention we lost our home and savings and had to find another place to live in but owe rent there now and my Dad's case isn't done yet. In December we will find out if they are going to try and deport him again. We are creating this GoFundMe because we need support for the following: 

-To pay the $7,000 for his bail when he was released from detention
-To pay $2,300 for rent and bills we owe 
-To pay $700 for car insurance , gas and everyday expenses
