CHRISTINA NEEDS YOUR HELP

Dave and Christina Bhend are a marvelous couple. We are proud to have them as friends. Christina has been diagnosed with brain cancer and needs our help. Please continue reading to hear their story.

Christina Bhend devoted her career to helping others through her job as a medical laboratory technician. The irony of this whole situation is that she retired on March 23rd of this year and two weeks later her symptoms began. Six weeks later she was undergoing surgery to remove the tumor.

The story that should be told has to be about Air Supremacy Over Goshen 2018. I was going to fly my PT-26 and Christina was to spot for me. As I was walking to the flight line RJ Monroe told me that Chris and Tina Patton would be flying together in an "all-girl gaggle". All the guys were brought down and the two of them flew their planes together. That one encounter developed a very special friendship that became a true sisterhood for Chris and Tina. It has been a highlight in Chris' life. We are very fortunate and honored to be a part of the Warbird and Classic family.

We are traveling 100+ miles each way Monday through Friday to Minneapolis for Chris' treatments. We have insurance, but there are certain things insurance doesn't cover and this thoughtful gift will help very much. We are so very proud to be able to be a part of such an incredible family.
