US Air Force Staff Sergeant Gabriel Martino

#THE MARTINO FIGHT
On December 4, 2019, after a one month illness, my nephew Gabriel a.k.a. "MARTINO", went to an emergency room in Guam where he was stationed, now serving 8 years in the United States Air Force.
Gabe is 26 years old and I would like you all to know a little bit about this amazing man. Whenever Gabe would set his mind to something he would excel until he reached his goal. Whether it was in school, on the basketball court or in the military, he was always driven to succeed, he always strived to be the very best he could. Now, he was unstoppable planning his career in the military to serve and protect his country, all the people of his country, and his families on base and within the military and his biological family. He would help anyone in need. Everyday he was working hard at his job, studying, testing physically and mentally but nothing could prepare this young man for what he was about to learn, and the battle he is going to face to save his own life and future.
On that December 4th day, after a blood test was taken, it was revealed that Gabriel had Leukemia. Immediately following, a medical team was in order, Francesca had only hours to go back to her home, situate her dog with a military friend, quit her job and be prepared to evacuate by medevac from Guam to a military hospital in Texas.
Gabe will be receiving treatment for the next 18 months. He has started chemotherapy by a drip IV and will receive it 24 hours a day for 7 days a week with one day off to clean the IV and then for 3 days he gets a double dose and resumes back to the 7 day treatment.
This fundraiser is for the following needs:
Gabriel's expenses include but are not limited to transporting his dog Oden from Guam to Texas, Francesca's rental car until they get their cars from Guam, auto payments and other financial responsibilities. Now with Francesca by Gabe's side their income has been reduced to half, clearly unexpected. But, Most importantly, when Gabe recuperates, he and Francesca have prepared for In Vitro Fertilization, a highly expensive procedure. They have four chances to plan a family. Lack of income would cause a major constraint on their family planning. As I reach out to you on behalf of Gabriel and The Martino Family, please pray for him and with your help and support of a donation we can be by Gabriel's side and support him in this Fight For Life. Your donation is greatly appreciated.
Lastly, with every donation received, Gabriel is committed to donating 10% to The Wounded Warrior Fund", "I Want To Give Back", as Gabriel quoted!
