US Army Veteran, Howard Barber Family needs assist
Donation protected
Howard Eugene Barber passed away on Friday May 28, 2021. He was born on October 10, 1949 and Mr. Barber served in the Army and fought for the United States during the Vietnam War. Mr. Barber's family is in need of assistance with his funeral and medical bills. While Mr. Barber passed away at the VA hospital in Birmingham Alabama, there are still bills that will not be covered. The VA death benefits are not sufficient enough to have Mr. Barber cremated and then a Memorial Service . Melissa Mulkey, Mr. Barbers daughter is devastated with the passing of her Daddy. They were very very close. Melissa sells Tupperware and works for Pilot and this family can use all the help they can receive. I met Mr. Barber when he came out to Talladega Sunshine Saturday to help support his daughter while she was doing a Tupperware Event. A very pleasant man in a wheelchair with a heart of Gold. He will be greatly missed. Lets help this family financially so that we may make their grief more bearable and with less worry on the Financial end. Our government does little to help our US Veterans, especially the ones who served during the Vietnam War. Please help any way you can. If you served with Mr. Barber please send your condolences to the family. Thank you for any and all that you can do. Melissa is a true blessing in my life and I am lucky to call her my friend. Please help this family. Melissa will be handling these final expenses all by herself, so any and all amounts will help relieve some stress. She will also be missing work and will not be getting her pay while she is out with this horrible loss. Thank you. From her friend Donna Smiley.
