US Naval Academy Glee Club with the MN Orchestra

Hello,

My name is Laurie Rengel. I am helping with a fundraiser for what our team is calling "Operation Welcome". The US Naval Academy Glee Club is coming to Minnesota to sing with the esteemed Minnesota Orchestra on Veteran's Day weekend. This amazing event only happens once every 5 years (at most). We want to welcome and THANK the US Naval Academy midshipmen to Minnesota in style and with sustenance. We want to show them Minnesota charm and appreciation.

The funds we are raising are for "Welcome" bags and warmth items. i.e. beanie hats, snacks, drinks, etc. Further, we want to provide some box meals to help keep their energy up as they have a very tight schedule to rehearse, prep and perform.

This BEAUTIFUL concert is in honor of our Veterans. We strongly encourage as many veterans to attend as possible. This will be a beautiful tribute to those who have served our amazing country. As a Marine Mom, I am only one small piece of this and need your help to supplement the dedication of this esteemed group of young people that are giving their talents in honor of our country.
