Hello, I am raising funds for a horror themed party room at the 2018 Convergence, July 5-8. There isn't a place at the convention for horror, but there needs to be. Horror as a genre is just a much a part of geek culture as anything else, but because the content can freak people out, it makes it hard to talk about it with strangers. The room will have a creepy atmosphere, but is intended to be a place where fans can talk about the genre. There will be a professional tarot reader giving readings throughout the room hours. This will help fund the physical room itself, props and room decor, and the badge ribbons. I know I likely won't be able to raise everything I'd need, but anything would help.
