Help pay for Gus's Chylothorax Surgery & CT Scan

Hi, my name is Lauren and I'm making a fundraiser for my cat Gus. Gus has been having respiratory issues (pleural effusion) and we're trying to figure out what's wrong with him so we can help him. He's been to three different vets, had ultrasounds, xrays, biopsies, and has been given lots of medication while we try to find out what's wrong with his lungs or heart. Gus is a 3 year old gray tabby, and he loves food, laying on piles of clothes, and being pet with a lint roller. We'd really appreciate any help with his bills so we can help Gus get back to doing what he loves.

12/14 - Gus is heading in for his lung fluid biopsy today!

12/18 - Gus's biopsy results ended up not being conclusive. He hadn't been eating for a few days so the fat content in his blood and lung fluid may have thrown off results. We've ruled out infection though! We're going to get him to eat and be 'normal' for a few more days and then do another biopsy to be more sure of results. From there we'll know what our CT Scan situation will be and if he needs to have a very expensive surgery. Fingers crossed!

12/20 - Gus's breathing got kinda bad again so he's been brought back to the specialty vet to be put into an oxygen box till tomorrow morning where he'll have more testing done.

12/21 - He was held overnight on oxygen & had another biopsy done. He has Chylous Effusion/Chylothorax. We're going to try to rule out cancer or heart worms as a cause, but the doctor said that a large number of cases have unknown causes. We're looking at 2-2.5k for a ct scan and 9-12k for surgery.

12/22 - Gus has a surgery consultation scheduled for 1/2
