Help us buy an electric wheelchair and a Van

Hi, my name is Tim and I am doing this fundraiser to increase the happiness and mobility of my wife of 35 years. The last two years have been a challenge for both of us and especially hard on her. Her health journey began with her foot dragging which led to spinal surgery. This was followed by a fall in the shower which caused a second spinal surgery. The result of this was permanent nerve damage in her leg. Later that year she was diagnosed with Ovarian Cancer and had a large cancerous tumor removed and a complete hysterectomy, followed by chemotherapy which further aggravated the nerves in her legs. Arthritis makes it difficult for her to push herself in a manual wheelchair. Her medical issues continue and an electric wheelchair will help immensely.

Kirsten is unable to work, and this of course is unfortunately causing a strain on our finances. I love her and am trying to help the best I can but I need some help financially. Kirsten can no longer walk or stand on her own, and an electric wheelchair will give her greater mobility and independence. A Van will help me to be able to transport her more easily. We are working on getting Kirsten on disability, but that process takes quite some time to complete. Our need is far more immediate than when that process will be done. For the above reasons, we are asking for help from you. Please help us reach our goal of purchasing an electric wheelchair and an ADA-equipped Van for transport. Thank you.
