U.S Veteran: Milton Casey's Funeral Expenses
Donation protected
Thank you to everyone that donated. I know this was a community effort, all of you have just taken a large weight off our shoulders.
Earlier this month my dad, Milton Casey, contracted COVID-19 and we rushed to the ER. After a hard couple of weeks in the hospital, on January 26th his condition suddenly took a turn for the worse and he passed away.
He was the head of our household and we currently can not access any of his funds. So as of right now we do not have the means to pay for his funeral expanses. We would appreciate anything you can give. We just want to give him the proper funeral.
My father, Milton E Casey, fought valiantly in the Vietnam War. He served his country with pride through the Army National Guard. He continued with his passion for flying and flew small aircraft. As my father was a very humble man, we have come across several news clippings where he landed an aircraft with no landing gear. On another on another occasion he landed an airplane that had a malfunctioning engine that stalled. On both of these occasions he bravely saved several peoples lives. Unfortunately due to heart complications he stopped flying, which later in life lead to open heart surgery.
My dad was always a fighter and survived several life threatening illnesses. He survived cancer (March 2008), pneumonia (December 2010), and just recently in June 2020 open heart surgery and he was so strong through everything he went through and survived all obstacles.
He is survived by Vilma Casey (his wife), Michelle Casey, Ryan Casey, Raina Casey, Athena Casey, Alejandra Lopez (myself), and Alex Gomez. He will also be remembered by all of the lives he touched over the years. He was the life of the party and never hesitated on helping out someone in need. We love him so much and there just aren't enough words to describe everything he did in his lifetime.
I will be assisting my mother Vilma Casey with all the final expenses and we have an amazing community of people supporting us. We understand that money is tight right now for many people, but anything is appreciated. If you would be willing to stand behind us as well, we would love to welcome you and appreciate any support.
