USA National Kids Lit Champions need help!

Hi Everyone! We are the USA National Champions of the Kids Lit Quiz competition! We are invited to compete at the World Finals in Australia - but we need your help getting us there!

We are a group of kids who meet after school for a club called Kids Lit. We love reading books, and we compete in our club with questions and facts about all different genres of books. When the regional Kids Lit Quiz competition came around in our state of Connecticut, our club entered 4 teams. We competed against 20+ other teams from all over CT who love reading as much as we do. Our team came out on top at the CT Regionals, and we were sent to Nationals. We competed against teams from all over the country! But guess what...we won the Nationals!!! So off we are to the World Finals in Australia!

The World Finals will have us spend a week in Australia, where we will need a place to stay, transportation and meals during the week. There will be a fancy Gala dinner to celebrate all of the teams who won their nationals, and some day trips within Australia with the other teams from all over the world! BUT.....we need the funding to get there. As in, physically get there. Flights are running up to $3,000 each, and there are 6 of us on our team. We will need transportation to and from the airport. It will take 24+ hours to travel to Australia, so we will need money for our meals during our travel, too.

We really want to go to the World Finals. Our team has worked really hard to win Nationals, and we haven't stopped. We are still working hard because we want to do a good job representing our country at the World Finals competition.

Can you please help us with our transportation and expenses to get to Australia? Every and any amount will help us!
