American critically hurt fighting in Ukraine

My name is Matt, and my brother-in-law, former Navy Seal, father, and a sibling of 5, was just critically wounded in the Ukrainian war. Without providing too many details (sorry, I don't know how much I can share here), he is in critical condition with head injuries from shrapnel and is in a stage 3 coma in a Ukrainian hospital. The doctors don't believe he'll survive if he remains in the current medical facility.

I'm currently working with the State Department and throwing a hail Mary to see if they can help in any way. The purpose of this Go Fund Me is to help secure emergency funds to help transport him - if that's even possible - to a better hospital in Europe. We don't know what will become of this situation, but any assistance from fellow Americans and freedom fighters from around the world would be graciously accepted.

If you can't support our family financially, we simply ask for your prayers - lots of them. The outlook is currently unknown, but we DO know he is a fighter and firmly in the grasp of God's hands. With that, his medical bills will undoubtedly be astronomical if he survives, God willing.

We're confident his legacy of fighting valiantly to protect the United States, along with the citizens of Ukraine will be told in seasons to come.
