UPLIFT Community Fellowship, a Georgia Non-Profit and Public Charity 501(c)(3) organization, was birthed from Tazim's Happy Holidays Annual Food Drive began in the early years of his NFL career 26 years ago, to give back to less fortunate families in his hometown community of Fort Valley, GA. The activities of the organization have expanded to include administering the food drive in Phoenix, Tampa, and Atlanta; conducting youth leadership development & life-skills training programs and sports camps in the aforementioned areas; and awarding financial scholarships for qualifying less fortunate youth to participate in area sports programs.  Our organization fosters mentor/mentee relationships through recruitment of members who are mentored and impacted through their development in life skills, academics, and sports.  Adult volunteers serve as coaches or mentors of these young mentees to cultivate their development within the various programs. UPLIFT Community Fellowship is continuing to expand our presence in the Middle Georgia community, following our motto “Lifting as we Climb”. In order to provide our programs, we need your support. We know that the current economic climate is still rebounding, however, we are committed to making sure that we still reach out to our area families and make a positive impact!
