Usie’s Bayou Family Disaster Response
Clay and Tammy Usie are coordinating an emergency disaster relief trip to Houma, LA to support their immediate families (daughter, mothers, sisters and brother) who sustained much damage to their homes and communities and who are currently without power, water or communications. Tammy’s moms roof ripped off, Clay’s mom had windows blowout, lots of other roof damage among our nieces, trees and fences down, etc... Clay will be traveling with a few friends from his Mardi Gras Krewe who volunteered to help (Krewe of Andres DePez). Considering the tight timeline for them to leave on Wednesday we set up this fund for those that wanted to contribute supplies but couldn’t get them to us in time, especially considering our storm weather today. We are going to go buy food, tarps, construction supplies, cleaning supplies and ice as well as the fuel and oil needed to keep their generators going and chainsaws running by our guys to help clear roads, debris on homes, and patch exposed holes in their homes. He plans to be there a week and will help as many people as he can in our hometown of Houma and south of there in Dularge where many of our family reside.
