USMC Funeral for Robert Pidgeon

PFC. Robert Leroy Pidgeon (USMC) reported for duty at the gates of St. Peter on May 01st, 2018 after losing his final battle with PTSD.
Robert's battle was a long and hard one, having been born prematurely and spending his first months of life in NICU. He followed in the footsteps of his Great Grandfather, Vernon and joined the United States Marine Corps.
Anyone that knew Robert, knew him to be a kind, polite, and gentle young man, with a great sense of humor. He was enthusiastic about his family and was always willing to go above and beyond; even when nothing was asked of him. He was selfless and would give without thinking twice.
This page is intended to cover all funeral-related expenses for this Marine Corps Veteran and some debts of Roberts that were left behind after his unexpected passing. These funds will need to be raised within the next 07 days
My name is Daniel Dorman-Pidgeon, I am Robert's eldest biological brother and the burden of planning my own brothers funeral has fallen to me, as my mother is too stricken and sick with grief.
As a Freemason and member of Gulf Breeze Masonic Lodge No. 347, you have my solemn promise that the funds raised on this page will be used in accordance with the above reasons, and for those reasons alone.
My family and I would never have asked this of any of you. We are not accustomed to putting ourselves at the mercy of strangers. Yet, we must in this case, so that Robert may have the funeral deserving of a United States Marine.
Please help us, anything you can give will be a sincere blessing on this family and a testament to Robert's memory.
