Good day Everyone,

I am Michael Paul Muhvic and I am creating this GoFundMe page to help pay for a very unexpected, lifechanging experience I survived.

On September 17th, 2023 I passed through a Gran Mal seizure and hours later I had another Seizure at; Essentia Health-Northern Pines in Aurora Mn.

My Sarah witnessed the entire ordeal; her graced strength and present prayers to do what was needed to save my life will always be held eternally dearest in my heart.

I was transferred to Duluth the following day as I needed; level 1 trauma center to deal with the severity of my situation.

My spine in two different vertebrae were fractured along with tearing cartilage inbetween multuple ribs, bruised chest wall, a piece of my tongue bitten off and fluid and blood buildup in both lungs.

The best word we have come up with is; "Baffling!" I Have no history of seizures, no family history of them and the whole ordeal is hard to wrap my head around!

The good news is; the CAT scan revealed I did not suffer any brain trauma and Epilepcy medication is not needed for life at this time, but I was urged by Drs not to be alone and I have to stay on prevenative seizure meds for the next 4 months. Common place after a seizure is; no driving for three months and I will be in a spinal brace for the next three months or longer.

I am thankful and hopeful for my healing process. Im praying that I do not experience any more seizures moving forward and allow my mind, body, and spirit to heal completely and to try and have patience through this entire process. Easier said than done as it is all extemely painful! I just need serious down time and less stress as I was diagnosed with full PTSD due to other previous circumstances some months ago and my therapist and Drs advised me not to work; yet in that time frame I did side jobs and was working on a non-profit for people in need ( go figure) Like my own situation now! My Dear friends the Ceminsky family with all they have been through, wanted to jump on board. Its all very ironic that this entire ordeal I have been through relates to all I have been working on to honor my own dad with naming this organization after him. "Paul's Pathways" is still in the developement stages and we hope to have things moving forward with this plan as soon as possible. I also have had money that I owe and I Plan on paying back.

I have been recommded to start this; GoFundMe page for help in handling the months of not being allowed to work.

Drs have helped file for medical dissability on my behalf as well, but that process can take very, very, long and in some cases even over a year to get an answer to know if you will be granted the help.

As many know there are only so many options out there for help in circumstances like this. So to be able to network and get the word out; this site for fundraising is priceless and offers people like me hope that things can and will get better.

My insurance is fighting many parts of my treatment already in this healing process and I have months ahead of treatment and rehab to come and that is if all goes well.

I will need bone cement injections once things heal as much as possible, surgery down the road may be needed as well.

I am still processing it all and it has and will continue to change my life. Medical and everyday expenses are weighing heavy. We hope to be able to bring this organization to life with the hopes of changing the lives of those in need as well.

I humble myself like I have never had to do before, while staying positive as I move ahead day by day!

I will be humbly greatful for any donations and spreading the word out at this trying time for many in our world. I know many folk out there live paycheck to paycheck and are struggling with high prices across all industries and aspects of their lives.

I am a private person and social media is really not my thing. It is never an easy way to have to ask anyone for help like this but life can throw some serious curveballs our way and I am earnesly reaching out.
