Help support UTC Blackpool kit out the new gym
Donation protected
Hi, I am hoping to raise funds to help my amazing local jiu jitsu gym, cover costs with the refurbishment of their new location.
Unfortunately the previous landlord decided that he would, without any notice or reason, evict both UTC Blackpool and Lone Star Muay Thai (formally UTC Muay Thai) from the premises. This was without any warning or thought for the 100+ members that train at the gym, both adults and children.
Scot who owns UTC, does so much for the community, offering free sessions to police and prison officers and also coaches free sessions to children who have experienced bullying. He fund raises for local charities and donates to one of our local homeless charities. Regularly offering help to anyone who needs it. He travels the country in his spare time supporting his students in competitions and MMA fights.
The gym is described by all of its members as "more then just a gym" it is a family. Promoting not only fitness and physical health but mental health and well-being too. One of the many reasons why Scot was nominated for 'coach of the year' in the active lives community awards.
Let's help make a great training facility for our community. You will be helping many current members but also future members too.
If you are interested in learning a new sport please check out UTC Blackpool on social media, you will not regret it.
The new location for the gym will be George Street, Fy1 3SE.
