UTC South Africa (Mission Trip)

Hey everyone,

My Name is Roxanne or Roxy for short. I’m so excited to begin a new journey in my walk with God and that is the Urban Training Center in South Africa. I attend Victory Outreach Church of Eagle Rock and it’s there where I serve God and help out in the young adults and student ministry.

Two years ago in March of 2020, God gave me a promise and sparked a desire in me to attend the Urban Training Center. For those of you who don’t know what that is, it is a place to assist young people in answering the call of God upon their lives and see them grow in several areas: Personal Development, Church Leadership, working with people and Missions Outreach. It has been quite a journey to get to this point, and I am honestly filled with so much joy to be able to have this opportunity. I went from being hopeless, depressed, full of anxiety, no dignity, and feeling worthless; then I cried out to Jesus and I believe he answered my prayers and my cries. He’s turned my life around and I’ve never felt peace like this before. I want to be a light and a hope to young women and women like me, anywhere I go. I want to be able to share with them the Love of God and how He can do the same thing for them, that he did for me. The funds I’m raising will go towards my tuition and flight ticket.
