At the end of November 2018, a full physical was done with my primary care physician. A PSA test was done that showed average numbers for my age and did indicate any problems. One year later, in 2019, another physical was done, but they neglected to test for PSA levels. My physician remarked how my bloodwork was “amazing” and noted that it was probably due to a healthy lifestyle. I was eating good, fresh foods and doing a 6K run every night.
As the fall progressed, I received teaching certification, transitioned out of a private school, and started working for the Clark County School and Library as a contracted teacher. A dream job for me. I did several classes with great success. Then Covid came to the schools closed. I kept busy during the Pandemic and had another physical in 2020 and 2021. They did not, for whatever reason, do a blood test.
On June 16th, 2022, I went for another physical. This time the PSA level was off the charts. After further examination and a biopsy, it was discovered that, although localized, cancer had spread to both sides of the prostate.
The diagnosis is stage 2, T2C B2 and is rather aggressive. I would like surgery ASAP before it crosses out of the localized gland. All funds will go to the operation. The amount posted is what it will cost.
Any help $1 and up will be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.
