Honor Dave Bruce by Helping 9-11 Families

Dave Bruce of Bruce Cutlery Knife Outlet passed away on August 30, 2024, and he will be greatly missed by many in our gun show community.

Dave was an accomplished guitarist who was admired for his playing ability by many, a self-taught artist, (who watched a lot of Bob Ross) and could whip you up a painting in no time. Those of us who knew him at the shows remember him as a very happy, free-spirited friend who could make anyone laugh.

As many of you know, Dave stood strong in his convictions, and he was extremely passionate about honoring and aiding those impacted by the terror attacks on September 11, 2001. To honor his life, we would like to collect donations to support Tunnel to Towers Foundation. Tunnel to Towers supports the families impacted by 9/11 in a variety of ways, including building no-mortgage homes for families of first responders and military veterans who lost their lives as a result of 9/11, building smart-homes for disabled veterans, and encouraging education about the events of 9/11 through classroom curriculums and exhibitions.

We will be holding a celebration of life in honor of Dave on Thursday, September 26th, 2024 at 6:00pm at the Beer Barn in Kinston, North Carolina. All are welcome to join us to enjoy some food and a full bar while we listen to Dave's favorite music and share our favorite memories of Dave.

The fundraiser will continue until October 7, 2024.
