Kathy’s road to recovery
Donation protected
Friends and family, we need your support more than ever. Kathy suffered a severe stroke on March 18, leaving her paralyzed on the right side of her body and unable to talk. She has been strong through it all and has had an amazing team of doctors and nurses working with her. The doctors found a blood clot on the left side of her brain and found an Atrial septal defect in her heart. Thankfully the cardiologist and his team were able to successfully close the opening.
The neurologists say she will be back to normal with time. However, it will be quite a recovery journey ahead, and lots of therapy is needed. Currently, she is receiving therapy in an inpatient facility. Unfortunately, after her stay, her physical therapy will not be fully covered by insurance, and it will take time before she can return to work.
Our family appreciates any help you can provide for us. If you cannot donate, keep Kathy and our family in your prayers. We do not have a set goal due to everything happening all of a sudden, and we don't know how far this road to recovery will be.
This link is provided so that those who have reached out and want to help can do so.
