Help Kaia beat cancer

Donation protected
If you know Meg, you know that her fur babies are her life. She has been struggling so hard for the past 2 years to get enough income just to keep up with living expenses.
Her dog Kaia has been sick for the last few weeks. Meg has been fighting to get help from Veterinarians.Tonight she got some answers. This is the message I just got from her:
“The verdict is, they think my sweet, loves everyone, best doggone ever has cancer.
I'm going to bring her home tonight and keep my appointment at Hanover surgical center for next Tuesday to see how the mass is attached or if it has metastasized and if it can be removed or if she may be at the end of her life...
I can't stop crying.”
She has put all of her money to get help Kaia and with balances still owed and so much more ahead, she needs all the help she can get from her community and beyond.
If you are able, please help Meg.
She is a very very deserving soul.

** UPDATE 8/22/2023 **
When you are dealing with a devastating diagnosis like Cancer in your family, it is a long process with many hurdles that affect every facet of your life 24/7.
On Friday the 18th Kaia had a procedure that provided some temporary relief in order for her to make it until she could be seen by the surgeon. That appointment with the surgeon is scheduled for this Friday the 25th.
To date, Kaia’s medical bills total $1400. Meg received some help from a vet fund that covered about a third of that. The rest Meg covered by using her “bill” money that was intended to pay her car payment & insurance and her rent money. She also needs to be able to pay for Friday’s Vet visit and medications.
I am a firm believer in people being responsible for their own choices and lives, but I also believe that most people could use a little help from time to time. It’s a difficult thing to do – asking for help.
I am asking for her. If you can help Meg with these expenses, I would be forever grateful. We can’t take away Meg’s worry or anxiety but I know it would be a relief to have some of the financial burden taken care of.
I’m not a huge fan of GFM. To be honest, I’m not a huge fan of asking people for money. But sometimes there’s just nothing else we can do.
Thank you ♥
