Kimberly's 3rd surgery

Donation protected
This is Kimberly Scarlett born 8/24/2014. She was born with Anophthalmia syndrome. What is Anophthalmia syndrome? Well, it’s the absence of one or both eyes and only about 3 out of every 100,000 babies are born this way.
Kimberly has had 2 surgeries in the past year and needs a 3rd one mid-December. The cyst growing on her eye socket keeps coming back and not only affects the possibility of having a prosthetic eye in the future but also her everyday functions as the cyst is preventing the eye socket bone to grow properly. Her 3rd surgery will cost nearly $9,000 - if there are no complications. With complications or an extended hospital stay, it could easily go up to $20,000. Unfortunately the Oregon Health Plan is denying her any assistance and have ruled her surgery as cosmetic even though her doctors have personally contacted the OHP office to explain how this is a health condition and not a cosmetic one.
Still the state will not help.
Kimberly is the best niece anyone could ask for. Your help will help us reach the minimum amount needed to get her surgery done.

Thank you for all your help.
