Fireworks for a cause

After reading peoples disappointments on Social Media about the lack of fireworks displays on the Lake this year (and none last year) I approached Jeff from Mitchells Marina about having a second fireworks extravaganza on Independence Day, Sunday July 4th and a plan was hatched!

So let's make this 2nd show at Mitchells happen! Some generous local businesses have got the ball rolling with funding, but now we need the Smith Mountain Lake Community to come together and help make this a great event.

Jeff from Mitchells Marina has secured the fireworks and now we need help. I am asking you to contribute to the cost of the fireworks show. Any money raised beyond the cost of the fireworks will be split between 2 great charities. The SAUNDERS VOLUNTEER FIRE DEPARTMENT and the SEMPER FI fund.

So let's make this 4th of July memorable and help raise money for 2 great charities! Let's show what the Smith Mountain Lake Community is all about!
