New Boat for Chez Moniques
Donation protected
Hello friends of Chez Monique's! Chez Monique's is a
popular spot on Canada's West Coast Trail, about midway. Monique has become an icon on the trail with her great food and shelters in times of bad weather. She has taken it upon herself to take care of hikers, even in times that they need to be off the trail and taken to Port
Renfrew for relief. Monique has been there since 1991 to take care of the travellers on the trail. Last August she lost her boat to a major storm, it was turned upside down in the cove and needs to be replaced, something she cannot do without help. She has never asked for help in the past, but we are asking that you help her in her time of need, as she has helped so many in their time of need. The boat is not cheap at an estimated price of 145K, she really needs this to get supplies out to the store and hikers, also taking them in and out to Renfrew. She is a very caring lady who would not do this request on her own, as she is too proud. The hiking season will start May 1st and we are scrambling to get this to happen by then so that she can continue to help out in all the ways that she does for all the hikers on the trail. Can all of you please help her to get a new boat so that she can continue to service all your needs and wants? If you have been there you know her, she is very hands on and ready to help in anyway at anytime, whatever you may need. Monique will be so thankfull for your donations to make sure she will be able to continue the operations again this year and for years to come. We sincerely hope you will join us in helping her raise the monies needed to continue servicing you! Thank you all for taking the time to read this and we hope you will help out her world renowned services. Pictures and videos will be posted soon, until then you can see her place on youtube videos! We wish you all a great hike and a great summer this year, we really want to be able to continue Chez Monique's for many years to come and always be there for you!
