Support the Hicks Family

Daniel Hicks, a 29 year old father and husband, has been a Cobb County Police officer for 6 years constantly putting his life on the line to protect others safety. Daniel has suffered his whole life with Type I Diabetes. In 2019, he was diagnosed with Stage 4 Renal Disease and started dialysis three times a week. Daniel was placed on the transplant list for a Kidney and Pancreas. Over the past 2 years, Daniel has had multiple surgeries that has led his heart to stop causing the doctors to resuscitate. On September 22, 2021, Daniel received both the kidney and pancreas transplant. During surgery multiple complications occurred, which will lead to lots of physical therapy. We are looking to raise money so that Daniel’s family can go to sleep peacefully knowing that they will have financial stability (medical bills, medications, etc.).
