Astronomical Observatory

My name is Gary Boyle, and I am asking for your financial support to help construct a large astronomical observatory. The 24-foot by 12-foot structure currently under construction will consist of a telescope area that will house a permanently mounted research telescope. The movable roof will roll off over the insulated control room containing computers.
As a long-time astronomy educator, the purpose of the observatory is to continue my public outreach to help educate children and adults on the wonders of the universe. I also plan to conduct scientific research in the search for asteroids as well as supernovas in distant galaxies.
My passion for the night sky began at an early age and I have never stopped sharing with others. In recognition of more than 30 years of public outreach, the International Astronomical Union has honoured me with the naming of asteroid (22406) Garyboyle.
The night sky is a wonderful and mysterious place to behold and study.
