My nephew Anthony Montgomery also known as AJ has been transferred to Upstate University Hospital with a severe case of Subcutaneous Emphysema which has triggered numerous complications. He was admitted 7 days ago with no timeline in sight of when he will be able to come home. His mother has been by his side since day one. This has put a financial strain on their household. Any monetary donation would be greatly appreciated to lessen the burden and to help with travel expenses, food and bills that are accruing. AJ is taking it one day at a time and is trying to keep a positive mind frame. The plan going forward is to ensure that his pain level is manageable and that the dangerous air pockets subside so they can assess him further. Until then, the safest direction and plan going forward is the “wait and see” method. There is no time frame on how long it will take for his body to fully recover.
