UPDATE/UPDATE - Mike is going Home!! He has made a miraculous recovery and is to be released from the hospital today. Please help us reach the goal. Still some major steps to take on the road to recovery.

UPDATE - Mike will be moved to a Rehab facility later this week. He is a walking miracle. Please help today. The family is so grateful to the friends who have stepped up to help them in this difficult time.

ORIGINAL POST - Last Monday, My friend Mike Wilson had a stroke. His family have travelled to Oregon from all over the country to help him through this hard time and he is on the road to recovery. They take turns sleeping in his room and help him make critical decisions regarding his care. While I don't want to go into details here, he remains in the ICU and is surrounded by professionals and the ones who love him as his condition is very serious.

I personally have been at the hospital many times and have seen how deep the love is within this family. Please consider even a small donation as this fund raiser is only a small part of the total ongoing costs related to this unexpected tragedy.
