Grow our business!!

We are expanding our tiny, takeout Sicilian slice shop into a pizzeria at The Charles River Speedway and are looking for some additional help!

First off, why are we expanding? Since our beginning, when we were mobile-only, we dreamt of opening a space in which we could serve a menu that felt whole-heartedly as ours. Year after year, new opportunities presented themselves and we were steadily given the chance to learn new skills and hone in on our craft. This is one of those times. This expansion is allowing us the ability to fit new appliances into our pizzeria that will expand and diversify our menu. Our new menu will consist of round pizza, Sicilian slices, and a full sandwich menu.

Dan and Allie Spinale, owners of Pizza Project, have funded Pizza Project since the beginning and are humbly asking for assistance this time around. Donations for this expansion will be aiding in our purchases of new equipment including a new pizza oven and renovations. For the last year, we’ve been cooking our pizza in a ventless, convection oven as it met the requirements of the space. Using this oven has maxed out the speed and volume and capped us from being able to keep up with the customers needs at The Speedway as well as limit us in the type of pizza to be made. This new oven in addition to renovated ventilation of the space allows us to diversify our pizza menu with the addition of round pizza and increase our production. Also, this allows for us to include a delivery and takeout option to our business.
