On May 17th, my father, Kenny and his fiancee Karen were out with some friends on their motorcycles. Unfortunately, a car swerved from the opposite lane and hit both of them around 4:26pm in Killingworth, CT. Karen unfortunately took the hardest hit and passed away on the scene. Kenny has sustained many injuries. He was airlifted to the hospital and is currently fighting in ICU. He has many injuries internally and externally. Good news was today, he was in a much better place. I can provide updates as we get them, but when he arrived he was in critical condition and they are now saying he is stable. He will be undergoing more surgeries and things are to the minute still. He cannot speak to us yet, but he is responsive by nods and hand gestures. With both of these huge tragedies, everyone has been asking what they can do for all of us. While we are all on edge and playing the wait game, there really are only two things anyone can do. One is pray. Pray to whomever you pray to and ask that they be Kenny's guardian angels as he heals. The next thing is what this is all about. Both of these occurences are going to be a very heavy financial burden on the families. If you would like to contribute in any way, we would appreciate everything.
