Walker Family Medical Tragedy!

My name is Myriah Del Rossi from Palestine, TX and one of my oldest, nearest, and dearest friends is in the turmoil of her life. Thursday, Feb. 11, 2016 her husband did not wake up - unresponsive. 911 was called and Jim was ambulanced to the local hospital in Huntsville, TX (CPR being performed the entire route). Jim was immediately transferred to Bryan, TX - St. Joseph's Hospital facilities where Jim was admitted into ICU. Jim is septic, has pneumonia, and due to his sleep apnea he was not able to exhale the carbon dioxide his body was creating. By the time he was stabilized some-what at St. Joseph's he was 98% carbon dioxide and 2% oxygen. Jim who never complains and showed no signs of being "sick", is in fact, a very very sick man. Jim is on life support, and was put into a medically induced coma for about a day. Dr.s have hope that the lack of oxygen to the brain did not do any irreversible damage. At this time Jim still cannot breathe on his own. Jim's kidneys seem to still be functioning barely and not as intended - possible source of the septic infection. He is on IV antibiotics and heavy doses at this time. Jim is the bread winner of his household and the entire family's rock. Jim and Brandi are not wealthy people, they are just hardworking, blue collar, down to earth, give you the shirt off their back type folks. There is no available money for paying the Dr. Bills, the Prescription bills, the hotel room for Brandi - did I mention 2 teenage kids are trying to cope with this, while their mother is out of town at the hospital with their father and they are home going to school, and trying to live without their parents’ home. Funds will be used for medical expenses, lodging, food, and anything else that may unexpectedly arise from this horrible situation. If more funds are raised that needed - the balance will be re-donated to another family in need. Funds are needed ASAP, Insurance is not covering much of anything, with Jim not working it is hard to stay in hotels/motels and eat on the road, it is costly to drive back and forth from Huntsville, TX to Bryan, TX daily, I have no clue about their total financial situation but I do know this - they both work very hard, they do not and have not ever lived above their means, they are just good people who do not make nor have a lot of money. Jim and Brandi are people who always have a smile on their face, who work hard every day, who love their God, family & friends and would do the same for any of them if we were in this situation. Please help Brandi & Jim - Before Brandi married Jim (2013), for years I watched her work up to 4 jobs at a time, raise 2 children in an old farm house falling down around her feet, sometimes with power, more times without, sometimes getting water from the water hose connected to the well - and never not once in all those years (@ least 10) did I see her depressed or down about it, did she ever have a bad word to say to anyone about it - no she smiled and kept on going just working harder and keeping that positive, bubbly attitude, and faith that it will one day get better. I saw her during this time be so strong for all other people around her when it was her sister that was being buried, never once has she lost her faith or genuine caring, loving self. She would never out right ask for help, she's the one who always helps others. Therefore with her permission, I have created this page so maybe, just maybe some of the true, good hearted, hard-working, people of the online world would take a moment and spare a dime for these wonderful people. It took Brandi close to 20 years to find her "Knight in shining Armor" and we need to help her, help him get back on his horse and come home healthy. His Grandson Lucas, just shy of 5 months old needs his Paw Paw and Online world WE NEED YOUR HELP. Any help you can give is appreciated, it doesn’t have
to be money, gift cards to restaurants, fast food places, gas cards for travel, and hotel points for room nights. At this stage in the game beggars cannot be chooser. Please help me reach the goal and donate anything you can to help this family out, which has helped me out more than enough times to list. In Jesus name we pray, Amen and Godspeed. I can think of no one else in the world (my world) that I would even do this for - this family is tried and true and my friend Brandi just cannot afford to do this one on her own, this time folks and we really need you to open your hearts and pocket books and help us help her get her Husband, Father, Grandfather, Employee, and Friend home.
