Uwe Kolkmeyer´s Medical Fund

Last Summer, my good Friend and Caricature Artist-Colleague Uwe Kolkmeyer was diagnosed with a rare and aggressive Form of Cancer.
Since then he and his Wife Antje were fighting with all available possibilities, from Operations and Chemos to costly complementary and alternative medicine against his disease.

Unfortunately all efforts and Therapy's could only slow down, but not stop the growth of his Cancer.

Since January 15, his condition has dramatically declined. Emerging Wounds in his Lungs are unstoppable to be closed so that the leaking Blood is giving him from Hour to Hour harder times to breathe.

The Doctors have sadly confirmed that there is no Hope anymore for a cure.

Uwe is one of the kindest Persons I know who cherishes the simple things in life and displays love for others around him.
On every step since he was diagnosed, his attitude,
strength and positive thinking have amazed me and many others.

Even with his bad medical condition and with a constant state of Pain his creativity and Love for Art and Music was unstoppable.
He did continue to perform on Caricature- and Live-Gigs with his Band until the very End.

All of the refunds received here will go toward Uwe, Antje and their three Children with the pay of the exorbitant medical bills and subsidize his lost income.
