Support for Family

Thank you for everyone’s support through this! Our family just asks for support, peace and understanding through this time. It's with my deepest regret to inform everyone that my beautiful mother, Cherie, passed away. She was surrounded with love from all of her children in her final moments. I’lI never be able to express all the ways she brightened this world. The warmth of her embrace, the joy in her laugh, the love she gave to everyone. She was a light in many of my darkest times. I will be forever grateful to know that kind of love. All I can hold on to now is knowing how overjoyed she must be to be with my father again. I know he is holding her close watching over us in our grief. We also ask to spread some love today, in memory of the greatest woman l've ever known. I love you mom.
When we found out:
There is a monster that lives among us in this world. It is small, but has infiltrated and stolen too many lives. It does not discriminate and it can sneak in when no one is watching and spread like wildfire destroying everything good in its path. It doesn’t care how much good you’ve contributed to the world. It’s ruthless and once it has its claws in you, it fights like hell to stay.
Well, this monster has found a new host to prey upon and we’ve decided to stand and fight.
I am the daughter of an incredible woman diagnosed with Stage 4 colon cancer. From what we thought was just some liver issues, turned into test after test. It started in the colon and spread onto the liver and then to the lungs.
She is the widowed mother to 3 passionate adults. I have always admired how strong she has always been after my father passed away from heart issues at a very young age.
My mother has taught me how to love, she helped me when I was at my lowest and picked me up like only a mother can do. She is my heart and soul, and I don’t give her enough credit for the things she does for the family. She’s taught me so much and I’m not done learning from her yet. It doesn’t matter if I’m 2 or 200 years old a girl always needs her mother in her life.
With the strength from friends and family and a little help from strangers we just might be able to lay siege upon this sick monster.
We ask for your donations because although no one is entirely perfect, no one deserves cancer either.
