This Go Fund Me is for Martin Islas, who we recently lost in a tragic car accident.
On 12/19/2019, Martin was driving to work with two other co-workers, Francis Williams and Eloy Franco. Another commuter fell asleep at the wheel and drifted into the opposite side of the road side swiping the vehicle Martin was driving. The contact resulted in both vehicles losing control and Martins truck rolling into a ditch. The incident resulted in hospitalizations and one loss of life.
I'am writing this with a heavy heart. Many had unique relationships with Martin. If you knew him well, you knew that Martin never met a stranger. He was very open and transparent with his thoughts and emotions. Martin was one of the most honest people I ever met. I personally have special memories of Martin that i hold a little tighter today.
Martin was good man, a family man, and a hero to a little boy.
Martin is survived by:
Wife: Sheri Islas
Childer: Stephanie Breeden, and Josh Breeden
Grandchildren: Cole Gwaltney, Landon Breeden, and Clementine Elliott
Siblings:Tony Islas, Raymond Islas, Jesse Islas, Jr., Felix Islas, Zenida Fields, Mary Lou Islas, and Anita Webb.
Keeping in mind the holiday season, i ask that you dig deep in your heart and act on that emotion you have to help. Any donation would be greatly appreciated.
