The Front Steps Project
Tax deductible
In this strange time of being alone - yet together - I have personally been feeling pretty helpless! My photography business has come to a complete halt due to social isolation so what's a girl to do to stay busy and have a purpose? Luckily a friend told me about a fellow MA Photographer that is starting the #thefrontstepsproject and I knew this was the perfect solution!
What is that and how can you help to? Keep reading...
Starting Monday March 23rd, I am offering to take five minute ‘Front Steps Portraits” of Plymouth residents. After your quick session, I will email you the digital file of your portrait. In exchange, I am asking you to make a good faith donation to South Shore Community Action Counsel through this GoFundMe Campaign.
I will be posting these images on my Facebook and Instagram pages using the hashtag #thefrontstepsproject. Please share these posts. Let’s spread the word!
The purpose of this project is to bring us together when we might feel isolated. I aim to highlight the faces of our community during a time when we might not see them in passing at the grocery store, school drop off, coffee shop or at the gym. Participating in this project is also an opportunity to step up to help those who need it most right now in Plymouth.
I will be taking images outside ONLY and from at least 10 feet away. Our session will be brief, likely just 5 minutes. This is not a typical get-dressed-up-and-pose-for-the-photographer session. Unless you want to of course... But feel free to wear your favorite stay at home comfy clothes... or let the kids pick out the craziest outfits you own. Just be you.
