George’s Road to Recovery

Hi my name is Allisson Hernandez, I am blessed to have the honor to work alongside George Arauz. Anyone who has met him knows he is a selfless, caring, loving individual. Unfortunately, a few weeks ago his health took a turn for the worst. What was supposed to be a joyful family vacation ended up to be the start of his heart issues. While walking up a flight of stairs at Disney, George felt fatigued and out of breath. When he arrived home from his trip, he made an appointment with his primary care physician. Several days later, George was transported in an ambulance to Lahey Hospital in Burlington. He was then scheduled for open heart Surgery (quadruple heart bypass). George has a long road to recovery. In these challenging time, let’s rally for our co-worker, friend and brother.

We all know that George would and has been there for all of us. Please pass this word and every bit counts. In closing, to his immediate family, Marine Corps family, and his ECSD family members. We are all extremely lucky to have George in our lives. ❤️
