Do something kind today

After living in the same rental unit for 6 years with an awesome landlord and a great rental history, we are being forced out of our home due to a property management takeover. This is 100% unexpected and like millions of other Americans, we do not have a savings and are unable to come up with the funds that are required to rent a new apartment. Justin and I both work full-time+ jobs and as most of you know on top of working I've dedicated the last 8 years of my life to helping low-income families, houseless individuals, and women and children that are starting over after leaving abusive relationships. We have a a 10-year old daughter with a passion for art and theater as well as a 7-year-old son who Is the latest and greatest upcoming martial arts artist in our area Children need love, food, & shelter to survive. Unfortunately in this instance our unmeasurable amount of love for them, will not provide a roof over their heads.

To make things more difficult. Even though we have a great rental history, we do not have good credit. Infact we have as low of a score as one can have. This is the reason we are asking for nearly 10 thousand dollars. It has been our experience that landlords require a larger deposit from us to guarantee we are able to afford the property. (Usually first, second, last, & security deposit)

We aren't looking for our dream house. We are just looking for a roof over our head, even if that means the 4 of us sharing 1 bedroom. Creating this GFM is the most humiliating thing I have ever done, genuinely. I have to put my children first though. We have zero friends or family that we could just stay with for a bit. Not because family wouldn't help, but because we don't have said family, or friends. It's just us, trying to raise two polite, respectful, kind kids that don't deserve to have their stability ripped away from them line this.
