Fuori Rotta

 

 

Io e Zenia abbiamo un desiderio comune, conoscere il mondo e scoprire cose nuove anche fuori dalle pareti delle nostre case. Ci rendiamo conto, purtroppo, che la maggior parte dei disabili (soprattutto in Italia) hanno difficoltà a fare esperienze di autonomia. Con questo viaggio non intendiamo cambiare il mondo della disabilità, lo riteniamo al di là delle nostre forze, ma nel nostro piccolo abbiamo trovato due buoni amici, Libero e Matilde, che con un piccolo camper, vogliamo fare un viaggio per il centro Italia, scoprendo luoghi meno battuti dalle rotte turistiche. Non ci è possibile materialmente, farlo da soli, come una coppia “normale e giovane”, magari avventurosa, come se ne trovano tante in questi tempi, magari anche con una tenda e un sacco a pelo. Questo non ci è possibile, ma con un po’ di fantasia è possibile farlo in un altro modo. Come? Facendoci aiutare e crescendo assieme ai nostri aiutanti, perché anche se cresciuti si cresce sempre ugualmente.

Perché l’Italia centrale?

Per tanti motivi. Per prima cosa non importa andare lontano e andiamo nel luogo di origine dei nostri accompagnatori. Siamo diretti fra valli e colline, anche verso, Recanati, dove si trova la casa di Giacomo Leopardi, nostro amore (mio e di Zenia) da sempre, fin dai tempi della scuola. Anche lui, non spastico, ma comunque gobbo, e sofferente d’asma, ma di contro avventuriero e ribelle. Certo, nulla a che vedere con noi ragazzi semplici, ma rendiamo omaggio a lui. Anzi, gli dedicherei il viaggio.

 

Con questa raccolta fondi vorremmo poter noleggiare un camper che rispecchi le nostre esigenze e riuscire a coprire tutte le spese per questa avventura.
Siamo attrezzati di fotocamera e video camera, questi strumenti permetteranno di documentare le nostre vite in questa esperienza e ciò è fondamentale per noi, poiché vorremmo testimoniare chi siamo e come siamo e cosa ci piace e non ci piace di questa folle bella vita e di questa contraddittoria società.

Zenia and I have a common desire, to know the world and discover new things even outside the walls of our homes. We realize, unfortunately, that most of the disabled (especially in Italy) have difficulty in experiencing autonomy. With this trip we do not intend to change the world of disability, we believe it beyond our strength, but in our small way we have found two good friends, Libero and Matilde, who with a small camper, we want to take a trip to central Italy, discovering places less traveled by tourist routes. It is not materially possible for us to do it alone, as a “normal and young” couple, perhaps adventurous, as there are so many in these times, perhaps even with a tent and a sleeping bag. This is not possible for us, but with a little imagination it is possible to do it in another way. How? By letting us help and growing together with our helpers, because even if we grow up we always grow in the same way.
Why central Italy?
For many reasons. First of all it doesn't matter to go far and we go to the place of origin of our companions. We are headed between valleys and hills, also towards Recanati, where the house of Giacomo Leopardi is located, our love (mine and Zenia's) since always, since school. He too, not spastic, but still hunchbacked, and suffering from asthma, but on the other hand an adventurer and rebellious. Of course, nothing to do with us simple guys, but we pay homage to him. Indeed, I would dedicate the trip to him.
 
With this fundraiser we would like to be able to rent a camper that reflects our needs and be able to cover all the expenses for this adventure.
We are equipped with cameras and video cameras, these tools will allow us to document our lives in this experience and this is fundamental for us, as we would like to testify who we are and how we are and what we like and don't like about this crazy good life and this contradictory society.
