Help Bonnie's Family

Bonnie, our magnificent kitchen lead, has been courageously leading her family through some difficult health struggles lately. Several months ago, her husband, Jason, was diagnosed with a tumor on his pituitary gland. The pituitary gland sits right behind the forehead, so removing the tumor essentially requires brain surgery. After several months of detrimental effects to his vision, appetite, and stamina, Jason was finally able to have surgery two weeks ago. Prior to the surgery, Jason missed many days of work (as an auto mechanic), and will be out of work for about six weeks following the surgery. Needless to say, all of this has taken a heavy toll on Bonnie, both emotionally and financially. She and Jason are expecting about $5,000 of out-of-pocket medical expenses.
