Hi, my name is Gerald Bliss. I recently fell victim to a house fire on July 23, 2023. Thankfully, I was not harmed but I lost all of my belongings; both material and sentimental. I was lucky enough to receive temporary housing for the next week but need a new apartment as soon as possible.

I have been working for a recovery cafe and recovery support center as a chef for almost two years now. Outside of work, most of my cooking & baking efforts go to re-entering citizens and the overflow shelter for the unhoused population. I find so much joy in cooking for others. After the fire, I have had to take a step back from things that bring me joy to make up for the funds & things I lost. Unfortunately, I am running out of time.

These funds will go towards rebuilding my life including clothing, toiletries, small furniture, bedding & other necessities. I am beyond grateful for any help, a share can go a long way. Thank you for taking the time to read my story. God bless.
