Keekee's arm surgery

Keekee Moravius Joulsteen Guevara is an amazing cat. He is sort of shy, fat, hairy, and loves to sing at all times. He loves to sleep on the backs of chairs, hates water, and sometimes tries to run outside. Sadly, one day as I was leaving to teach Violin, he tried to run out of the house. I slammed the door hoping he wouldn't get there in time, but part of his body was already out of the door. His front right leg took all the damage, and I felt sick to my stomach. He couldn't put any weight on it and there seemed to be blood. his upper arm looks to be broken in several places, and his lower arm is black and swelled up. I took him to the vet, and apparently his leg is really messed up. We haven't ran any actual tests, but the doctor told me this will be a tricky surgery. He says there is an estimate of $1,000 to amputate the leg, and Keekee could live a normal and happy life, or around $3,000 to send Keekee to Purdue and get surgery. I cannot afford any of these procedures, and I love this cat. He is a fighter, and a great companion. We've spent the last two years together making memories and cat stuff. Please help Keekee get better. He's a wonderful person, and an incredible cat.
