Battle with Brenton

Brenton’s Story

Brenton started with leg pain a few months ago.  He saw a Dr and was told he has Osgood Schaletter Disease.  The Dr said to do what he was comfortable with and rest when needed.  While on vacation Tuesday July 17, he climbed out of the river and he felt something pop in his leg.  He was taken to the hospital where they said his leg was broke and something else was going on...
He was transferred to John Hopkins All Children’s Hospital in St. Pete where they did test after test and diagnosed him with Osteosarcoma, a very rare type of bone cancer.  He has a tumor on his tibia in the left leg.
Brenton has a long road of chemo then surgery to remove the tumor and the affected bone followed by more chemo.

He is the strongest kid and this cancer has no chance! Brenton is ready to fight this fight and get back to all of his favorite things.

Never in a million years did they ever think they would have to deal with something like this, nor should any family have to.

Mandy and Joel will be traveling back and forth from Vero Beach to St. Pete. Brenton will be getting all his treatments and surgery done at All Children’s. The traveling expenses,  food and lodging are all going to add up over the next 10-12 months.
Any help is so much appreciated and will help ease that part of this battle.
Send all the positve vibes this families way too!

Please share this go fund me with everyone!
Brenton we LOVE you and are here fighting right beside you everyday!!
