Help Mumma Bear have the best chance at survival!

Momma Bear was purchased from Laildey Sales over the weekend and has not suffered like this at my hands. 

She is seemingly an older Arab that has been over bred from , has sadly suffered a complete rectovaginal fistula from giving birth and is believed to be in foal again (not to mention the other injuries and poor condition). The current colt foal at foot may not have been the foal that caused this tear. 

The vet is booked in to come and view her this week, along with the foal. They will scan for a current pregnancy, check the rectovaginal fistula (if it can be repaired), check for any bladder infections/infections in general, check over the foal, assess both ages of Mum and bub and make a game plan to help her. The vet was emailed photos and videos.

From the quotes I have been given by the vet, been told by people who have had similar situations and researched, it seems the cost could be anywhere from $3,000 - $5,000. The cost could increase as well if there was to be any complications. Full quotes from the vet will provided to the public as they are given. 

I am extremely grateful for absolutely every single person that has reached out either via comment on the facebook posts, private message or phone calls. Mumma Bear is a fighter and deserves the best chance possible. She has had an extremely hard life and deserves some peace and quiet. She will stay with me until her time to cross the rainbow comes, when ever that maybe (along with her colt foal). 

I would like to finish this by saying I am not a registered rescue as I'm not a charity. I have been buying poor horses from Laidley Sales for a long while now out of my own pocket and have not asked for donations. My horse training business The Hobbit Farm (which can be located on Facebook) started nearly 3 years ago and I have been actively helping horses work through issues, training, breaking and finding the best of the best homes for those that came through me. All horses have always been happy, rug, fed, worked (where needed) and plenty of TLC. Momma Bear is an extremely special case and needs your help! ❤️❤️❤️❤️
