Hi, my name is Irene, I'd like to raise money to pay for dialysis treatment for my partner Cleveland who is 65yrs old this yr, we've been together for a number of years. Cleveland is a giver, a carer, a friend to many, his kind supportive nature means he's always helping and supporting others. But who supports him?

He has had poor health in recent years and is now being treated for kidney failure.

He is in his 2nd year of kidney dialysis treatment, 3x each week. Each treatment is for 4hrs.

What never ceases to amaze me is, he never moans he never complains, he doesn't want sympathy, he gets up every day and does his best.

What annoys me is that this also means he doesn't share when he's really having a bad day, says, I don't want you to worry, still thinking of others not himself.

The dialysis takes its toll on him slowing him down, making him feel tired and week, he doesn't ask me to help him, he perseveres.

However I desperately want to help him, and when a dear friend suggested GoFundMe I was clueless to what it was, when it was explained I thought, I can't do that, Cleveland is such a proud man. Over the last 6mths I've given it much thought, especially as Cleveland wants and needs to visit his motherland, Jamaica, while he is fit enough to travel.

Having done our research about the cost of dialysis treatment in Jamaica, it bought tears to my eyes, how can we do this?.

Cleveland saves what he can as he yearns to go home.

I really want this for him, and he so deserves the support.
